Redwood House in Essex was a complete renovation of an early 1970’s property. The correct use of timber casement windows and doors was essential to the owners aesthetically and financially. The result was a fantastic family home which was later sold at a remarkable 60% growth in value within 3 years. All the windows were made-to-order and included casement windows, French doors, bi-folding wooden doors, entrance doors, and sliding patio doors.
Timber casement windows were used in combination with double glazed leaded lights. All the frames were supplied factory finished in white, replacing the dark stained windows, which looked bland in comparison.
The property also enjoyed a large mature garden, so making the most of this feature was essential. Therefore a mixture of bi-folding doors and sliding patio doors were used to stunning effect.
All the products are fully weather-stripped, with espagnolette locking, spray applied micro-porous paint and specially selected timber to ensure maintenance is kept to a minimum.
The leaded light engineered timber windows and doors were in keeping for this property, all supplied factory double glazed, fully weather-stripped, and factory finished in white spray applied micro-porous paint.
