Excited to announce that Lomax & Wood have been selected as a finalist for the Environmental Award within the Countywide Business Awards.
The Essex Business Awards recognise the efforts of local companies who have one thing in common – dedication to achieve excellence. This award is for companies/organisations actively committed to sound environmental practice reducing their negative impact on the environment.
As one of the UK finest timber window and doors suppliers Lomax and Wood are committed to putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Lomax + Wood are signed up to donate £1 for every timber window and door sold under the FSC® Chain of Custody to the World Land Trust Buy an Acre scheme. As we have recently announced since being part of the buy an acre scheme, we have Purchased 48 acres of threatened habitats and their wildlife!
Other ways Lomax + Wood drive toward being sustainable are by going paperless, switching our company cars to electric, ensuring meetings are online, and we continue to recycle out wastes.
It’s an honour to be selected as one of the finalists for the environmental award within the Countywide Business Awards – The winner will be announced on the 22nd December.
