Lomax + Wood have been signed up to the ‘buy an acre’ scheme. We donate £1 for every timber window and door sold under the FSC® Chain of Custody to the World Land Trust. Since being part of the buy an acre scheme we are proud to announce we have Purchased 48 acres of threatened habitats and their wildlife!
World Land Trust has funded partner organisations around the world to create reserves, that will give permanent protection to habitats and wildlife. Since being founded in 1989 – To date, the World Land Trust has helped secure more than 2,351,275 acres in 20 different countries.
As one of the UK finest timber window and doors suppliers Lomax and Wood are committed to putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do. From sourcing timber through sustainable sources as a member of FSC® COC scheme to switching our company cars to electric.
We believe climate change will be defeated through the power of collective action, and you can also take part in saving the sort of landscape we can’t afford to lose at this critical time.
A small gesture of £5 will save 35 square metres of a habitat that keeps vast carbon stocks away from our atmosphere and acts as a hurricane barrier for local people. You can donate to the Guardians of Nimla Ha’ appeal which will help to triple the Laguna Grande Reserve.
