Lomax + Wood supplied FSC® Chain of Custody new wooden windows and doors for a Georgian Farmhouse.

Nestled within a 3-acre plot of Essex countryside, near Brentwood, you can find this stunning Georgian Farmhouse, a home full of light with the most outstanding country views. The six-bedroom country house has recently been renovated to the client’s high-end specification. A superior home built to a standard of exceptional quality and bespoke craftsmanship throughout. The clients’ design brief was to maximise the views and natural light within the country house. The client chose Lomax + Wood because our products enhanced the property style providing the best aesthetic appearance in line with correct proportioning. Lomax + Wood supplied and fit a range of high-performance timber windows and doors for the client. Lomax + Wood provided spring sash windows, casement windows and bi-folding doors. These products included thermal, acoustic and security performance that exceeds the standard required by the building regulations.

All Lomax + Wood products are independently tested to ensure the building regulations are met, including Part Q; this involved a full range of intruder testing by Exova BM Trada.

These are considered detrimental to the aesthetics of traditionally styled windows and doors and require a higher level of maintenance.
