Lomax + Wood, the specialist supplier of high performance timber windows and doors in traditional and contemporary styles, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Purcell as regional sales director from July 2016 who will be based at the company’s Essex showroom and administrative offices.
“I have been in the industry for over 30 years, both in manufacturing and in sales, and I believe the Lomax + Wood brand offers a complete portfolio of top quality timber windows and doors,” says Steve Purcell. “The product range goes far beyond the limitations of a single factory which enables us to supply our customers with all their fenestration requirements, including installation, which provides one point of contact.”
Purcell, who worked for Mumford & Wood for over 14 years as regional sales director and more latterly as new business development manager, was also responsible for setting up the Southern regional office of Allan Bros.
Chris Wood, managing director, Lomax + Wood, comments: “I am delighted to have Steve back in my team. He brings great experience, has a wide knowledge of our made-to-order products and systems, and will bring valuable contacts. I know our customers and my team will value his contribution.”
Wood goes on to say: “With the traditional styles of products in our popular Kensington & Chelsea range, a comprehensive collection of wooden sash windows; beautiful flush timber casement windows; single, bi-folding and timber entrance doors in a variety of designs and architectural styles, Steve’s background will help him excel in working closely with architects, developers and conservation officers in both refurbishment and new-build projects.”
Lomax + Wood also offer a high performance, energy efficient range of contemporary products, including tilt turn, alu-clad and triple glazed windows and doors, to satisfy the demands of today’s smart, contemporary architecture.
